Jingai
I've been using uTorrent for over a year now and it has always work great for me. But there's one problem with uTorrent that really pisses me off. It only happens when I pick one or two files form a torrent with multiple files, download will start as normal but after while uTorrent will suddenly stop the torrent in progress (a red X appears beside torrent name) and when I hit the "Start" button to resume download I'll lose anywhere between ten and fifty percent of my download. And sometimes will not start unless I remove the torrent and restart it. Dose anyone what in the hell is causing this? I'd appreciate any help I can get. jewelisheaven
What is the X saying. Double click on the right margin of the "Status" column. Why does it turn to the ERROR icon Torrent Icon status
Jingai
Okay, it says some-thing like, "The parameter was/is incorrect." What dose that mean?
Ultima
http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#I_get_Error_Parameter_is_incorrect_when_selectively_downloadingDo you happen to be using Windows 95/98/ME...?
Jingai
Okay, I am using WIN98SE. But when I get that error, I don't lose any of my download. The error I get that stops my torrent and I lose some of my download when I resume it says something like "The data is not correct".
Ultima
Yeah, the FAQ doesn't mention anything about losing data -- it simply says to start (resume) the torrent again, as you have done.
