limbocontest
Hey.I can't download anything these days cause everytime i start a new torrent this message pops up. "Torrent error: The device is not ready". It just started happening, like, out of nowhere. The torrent won't even begin to download, the message just pops up about 1 minute after i've started a new torrent. I'm downloading to an external hard drive, "J:".I've looked around in the other topics, and I've seen some of you talking about "chkdsk /r" or something, but haven't managed to fix it yet. If my external hard drive is called "J:", what do i type to run chkdsk? "chkdsk j"? Please help )
DreadWingKnight
Did your drive letters change?
limbocontest
Nope, it's always been "J:"
Ultima
Check every torrent to see if any are being saved to a different (nonexistent) drive. Also check all options in µTorrent to make sure none of them are saying to download to a nonexistent drive letter.
