graystrickland Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 After I have completed downloading a given file (or fileset), is there any need for me to retain the .torrent (and the occasional .nfo) on my system in order to continue to SEED the file? Obviously I need to keep the original file (or fileset) to seed it. I'm only asking about .torrent and .nfo and only after my download is complete. Sorry for the naivety of this question. I did check the FAQ first.
DreadWingKnight Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 The .nfo is usually downloaded with the fileset so you do need it to seed. The .torrent gets backed up to %appdata%\utorrent or your torrent storage directory, so that copy needs to be kept, but other copies can be deleted.
