onepac700 Posted March 4, 2008 Report Share Posted March 4, 2008 help !!! the best i am getting is about 2.5 - 6 kBp/s download speeds. how can i improve this, i have checked my connection setting is correct and at 768K (internet runs at approx 8meg). checked loads of sites but nothing seems to help and yes i did read the tutorial. please help me!!!! 2good2b Posted March 4, 2008 Report Share Posted March 4, 2008 try the Openoffice torrent and post the DL speed of that.what's your upload speed in a speed test?is your port forwarded correctly? Do you have a green tick in the status bar?how many seeds/peers does the torrent show which downloads so slowly? are you connected to any seeds? is it only the one particular torrent you are complining about and do others go faster? That coupled with Ctrl-P -> Connection -> FORCED encryption and dis-allow legacy connections. :/ It's all you can do in the event your ISP really doesn't like filesharing.
