collbe105 Posted March 4, 2008 Report Share Posted March 4, 2008 when i am running µTorrent for about 20 mins it is fine but if i run it for like 30 mins or over even though it doesnt get that longer. it kindov turns my computer off, it is not actually off but there is just a black screen that suddenly appears and i cannot do anything and i have to hold down the power button till my comp turns off, and then turn it back on again. does anyone know why it does this or have any help that could resolve this problem please thankyou... i am vert greatfull for your help. collbe105 Posted March 5, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 5, 2008 well my hdd is pretty crap it is only 40gb ands its a ide i have just baught a 250gb hdd but it is sata and i need a power supply converter because ther isnt a power supply for sata hdd's on my computer but ther is a data port for sata.. i also think i have a copied windows software but i am not sure, my computer had a bad virus from downloading music, movies etc because i had no antivirus software and i had to get windows reinstalled but i got it done at this computer fair so i think that they mite of put dodjy software on i am not sure, i hope they havent. thanks for the help.
