Utorrent 1.3 settings for fast users.

Hey fellas,

I have speeds going at ard 3MB/s up and down. Now I have set utorrent to disk flush and left it at default for disk write at -1

What other things do I need to put in the settings ? Will like to hear feedback from other fast users. Thx!

If 3MB is 3 megaBYTES, you may wanna set diskio.write_queue_size to 16000.

Thx Firon, yap its 3MB/s ..I have a uni line. 3000kB/s upload or download.

Anyways how do u calculate the diskio.write_queue_size. Any formula based on ur speeds?

And any other settings which be beneficial at these high speeds.

Come on, Deeppal...you've been around long enough, you should know better than that. 2x - 4x your maximum download bandwidth for calculating the diskio.write_queue_size seems to net the best results.

I use about 2-4x of your max download usually (rounded up to multiples of 4000), but I like to use 8000 and 16000 as my most common values

I would for reasons of memory page sizes as well as Cluster sizes suggest to stick with common base 2 values

i.e 4096, 8192 and 16384
