jewelisheaven Posted March 6, 2008 Report Share Posted March 6, 2008 Have you checked through the Setup Guide (Guides page link #3)... and tested OpenOffice to try to figure out where the speed deficiency comes from?? One thing Sinik didn't ask is are you sure you're setup in the Speed Guide for your speedtest values? Even though you may rate 3 Mbit down for example on your speedtest, your ISP may apply shaping profiles as Sinik suggested keeping you from using all that 300KiBps of speed.... which Openoffice will verify.
