akonec
I have moved those folders another place, have changed accordingly Settings, and after starting uTorrent I got the message "Can´t open torrent file (old location of moved folders)". What did I wrong? It lasts even after restarting uTorrent.
Ultima
IINM, in µTorrent 1.7.x, the settings don't apply for old torrent jobs -- only new. To change the paths for old torrent jobs, you're going to have to edit resume.dat to update the paths with some capable editor, like BEncode Editor (third link in my signature).Be sure to make a backup of resume.dat before actually editing it. When you edit it, remove the .fileguard key at the top (right below the [ROOT] item). Finally, perform an Edit > Find & Replace, enter the old storage directory in the "Find" box, and the new storage directory in the "Replace" box. jewelisheaven
Be sure it's only editing keys for your sub-root TORRENT keys. The name of them is where the torrent is stored. It could be that they are just my.filename.torrent if you did not specify a torrent storage directory previously and which was not separate from your downloads directory.
