memosis
Hey guys,I have the port open on the modem and the router. I still cannot get utorrent to get the green check symbol on the bottom of the program. My ISP doesn't block any bittorrent traffic either. I was hoping someone would be able to help me out. Maybe my modem/router settings aren't correct? Thanks.
jewelisheaven
Please check your settings against portforward.com for the make/model.... if you have both devices which serve as routers (modem with router functionality)... try turning your modem's NAT off... You'll need to login to it and find the appropriate option. It is normally "bridge mode" which allows it to simply pass packets through to you, without inspecting it or performing any NAT. As far as the router, the same portforward page will help you. It's all about making sure your PORT (Ctrl-G) and IP (from ipconfig) are correct in the rule
memosis
I tried turning my modems NAT off, and it made the torrents and programs close/log off.DHCP is turned on, on the modem and the router. Would that have anyting to do with it?
