theorem
This is a behavior I've noticed with uTorrent, perhaps deletion behavior could be modified to handle this specific case to not impact other torrents.1. start utorrent2. connect to a torrent with 0 seeders , automatic folder creation On -- notice that a folder is not created because the content has not started downloading3. connect to a torrent with 1 or more seeders with the same name, directory name and name of files, file size may differ.4. right click the first 0 seeder torrent, select 'Remove and Delete Torrent And Data'5. watch as the data for your successfully downloading torrent is removed and uTorrent complains of missing data. Please fix ? Firon
yeah uh, it's not a bug if you're overwriting the same files with another torrent.
jewelisheaven
Still not a bug in uT... but I figure I'd reference this thread which discusses the behaviour as compared to the apparent feature of Azureus for you to multi-download http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=34869
