New User getting Error: Access denied with Vista

I am new to utorrent and the forums so I may have made a mistake asking my question for help in another member`s original post and trying with my own.

I just got a new computer pre-installed with Vista and cannot get any type of files to download whether media or application type files. I get this message after a minute or two. I have tried a number of the suggestions in other posts and online, turning off windows search indexing, windows media center indexing, diskio flush files. I have read the FAQ section and do not have Roxio products or NeoScout from what I can tell. I just installed Norton AV but was having this problem before that was installed. Here are my logs:

You are running an index service.. though it appears to be windows search?? I'm not sure how you go about making exceptions so if you can try turning it off temporarily that may help. It should be accessible from start -> run -> services. msc

I am really confused, I turned off windows search twice now, and have disabled it. I am still getting the error message.

:/ Now that it is disabled it is not the cause. Unfortunately that menas you need to do more trial-and-error. All of these Toshiba, Apoint, and O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [LtMoh] C:\Program Files\ltmoh\Ltmoh.exe services could be at fault. It may also be your AV program Symantec with over-aggressive scanning of the download directory. If you have a different completed directory from the downloading directory in uT you can safely make an exception for your DOWNLOADING directory in the preferences of Symantec to be sure it still scans the files when complete.

i tried simple dumb solution but it worked ,,,,

just remove the utorrent program using add-remove program and re install it

That is funny, I forgot to log back in and give an update, but I too uninstalled utorrent and reinstalled it, keeping the indexing off, and the Norton AV scans off of my download folder. And now it is working...with good speeds...go figure and after days of trying so to the above poster, I found that worked as well! I am curious if the above poster reinstalled it again without making the changes to indexing.
