sy07
Hello all. I've been using uTorrent for a long time now. I recently reinstalled Windows XP Pro on this computer and uTorrent 1.7.7 along with it. However, now I am always getting the no incoming connections icon.Info:- Windows XP Pro SP3 Build 3311- ESET NOD32 Antivirus 3.0.621.0- Linksys WRT54G Router v8 firmware- Generic Speed Stream modemAttempts to rectify:- Left UPnP on for both uTorrent and my router- Turned off UPnP and did port forwarding exactly as the website dictates and as I have done in the past as well- Shutting down/restarting my modem, router, and computer- Checked that uTorrent is an exception in Windows FirewallThe problem still persists and any help would be appreciated. :/
Ultima
Generic "SpeedSteam" modem means it's also a router. You're behind a double-NAT -- read the advanced port forwarding guide in the user manual for further description on the problem. Additionally, you should make sure to set your computer to have a static IP outside of the Linksys's DHCP range, which is 192.168.1.100 - 192.168.1.149 by default.
