jay20002 Posted March 9, 2008 Report Share Posted March 9, 2008 HiJust upgraded my internet connection to 20mb and since doing this i keep loosing my connection whilst using utorrent ? if utorrent aint running my connection is fine,when it is running it drops its connection every 1 min or so,then reconnects ! my isp is virgin media with a standard modem,im running windows xp.I tried several things like reduced my maximum global peers to 100,disabled dht etc etc but its still doing it !Before i upgraded yesterday i had no probs ! when utorrent is online its running fantastic with upload speeds upto 50-60kb,just aint staying connected for long !Bet all my peers are wondering wats going on lolany help would be appreciated !Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jay20002 Posted March 9, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 9, 2008 Thanks for that Ultima,i have tried all those apart from the 2 listed below,Try disabling NAT-PMP (Can be found in Preferences > Connection)Try lowering net.max_halfopen to 4 (Can be found in Preferences > Advanced)I disabled UPnP but couldnt see NAT-PMP and couldnt see net.maxI have done everything else,rebooted the system and utorrent is still dropping my connection?
