jewelisheaven
If you was to start figuring out what part of McAfee works.. You can uninstall it, but before rebooting or whenever it starts all those services... start turning them on one-by-one. Worst case is you deal with turning each one on and off before finding the culprit. Personally I'm leaning toward some configuration is needed for the firewall... but you never know. Additionally you may have access to guides / kb on THEIR website or in the manual with "how do I configure my p2p app for mcafee"
kaspar42
I had the same problem with Kaspersky AV. I solved it by disabling http scanning in Kaspersky. Someone ought to consider putting it in the 'imcompatible software' FAQ.WinXP SP2, µTorrent 1.7.7, KAV 7.0.1.325.
Ultima
Ugh... Internet filtering (in general) doesn't go well with P2P.
