cap2587
This problem is very frustrating and I'm sure I'm not the only one in my position. I have the little Red Icon at the bottom of my Utorrent screen while I am downloading (not connected, you have a firewall/router problem. I am trying to follow the steps recommended by fellow Utorrent uses, with no success. My Firewall (McAfee) is giving Utorrent total access, therefore can't be that reason. I have added a port to my router. I would assume now that it is still something to do with my router. what is the best thing to do. any suggestions on what exactly it could be. Is there a good step by step process of helping eliminate the things until I have my diagnosis. Thanks.
jewelisheaven
I would recommend going through my post end-to-end ... it covers starting at one end of your configuration and getting to the other. Hopefully by the time you get to the end the problem is fixed.I wouldn't be sure that McAfee is configured correctly, but that's just because I don't use extra software firewalls.
