GaBuG
Hi,I used to download with my old P4 with XP and always got the max speed according to my router's sync. Now, with Vista, it became a nightmare. I tried with "Windows Vista tcpip.sys Connection Limit Patch for Event ID 4226" and didn't get better results. So, I finally reach this forum and the post:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992In slow transfer speeds, it says:Try testing a torrent from OpenOffice.org, Slackware Linux, or Ubuntu Linux? (If any of them run quickly, then the problems you're experiencing likely lie only with the swarm)I tried it and magically got 300Kb/s (According to my 3Mb DSL), but i'm spanish and can't understand if it's good or bad and what have to do, So could anyone explain me what i'm experiencing? Thanks.
Ultima
... Translation problem...?What does the Speed Guide show your current settings to be, and what is your connection's maximum upload rate?
jewelisheaven
OK. So OpenOffice torrents and Slackware torrents download @ 300 KiBps in uT? That means your settings and line can accomodate your 3 Mbit speed. If you're NOT getting this on other torrents it's possible those peers simply can't pump out all that data to you.Btw. the thread title could use some work.
