drbits Posted March 16, 2008 Report Share Posted March 16, 2008 Search the help for Cache.Use Speed tab [show disk statistics] to see what your cache is doing.In Preferences -> Advanced -> Disk Cache, make sure you have checked Enable caching of disk writes Enable caching of disk readsUncheck Turn off read caching if upload speed is slow The last one isn't always obvious. Buf you have very slow DSL, so it is necessary. On the other hand, if your line is really that slow, uTorrent probably is not accessing the cache much.
