^3fun^
Hi. Well... I have sort of a problem. The thing is when I check my port it always says that the port I use cannot be opened, but I am downloading without a problem with considerable speed. I am using a wireless connection to a linksys router, don't know which model, and I have no access to the router so I can't change anything on it. I read that there is some issues about linksys routers, could that be it? The connection speed is varying all the time, so I can't be sure if I am experiencing some speed problems while downloading with µtorrent. Am I really having a problem and is there anything I can do on my computer to remove this error or it must be configured directly on the router?Thanx in advance! GTHK
Did you use UPnP? Options > Preferences > Connection > Enable UPnP port mapping.
^3fun^
Yes, apparently I am using. It's probably a default setting cause I havent enabled it.edit: I tried disabling it I still get the same message. I tried other ports, I still get the same thing. Should I leave it enabled? Ultima
If you don't control the router, and UPnP doesn't work, then there's nothing you can do about port forwarding.
