jewelisheaven
Check in msconfig to see if uT is listed to run twice. If not, open task manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del) and see if uT is indeed running. If yes start->run->"path\to\utorrent\utorrent.exe" /BRINGTOFRONT
osato
utorrent isnot in msconfig and when ihit Ctrl-Alt-Del it just said windows could not find path\to\utorrent\utorrent.exe" /BRINGTOFRONT make sure you typed it right and try again
jewelisheaven
... You have to replace it with the path you run uT from. If you installed it previously try "%PROGRAM FILES%\uTorrent\uTorrent.exe" as the bit between quotes.

jewelisheaven
OK. Can you check out Process Explorer from the How-To. When you open it up, double click on uTorrent.exe... see where it's running from. If it is indeed Program Files, then end task it. Try running it manually this time... see what happens then. jewelisheaven
Sorry yes, "End Process" in WTM and "Kill Process" in PE. You didn't answer, On the Image tab, what is the Path uT is running from.
osato
ok the path C:\Program Files\uTorrent\uTorrent.exe and its highlighted in purple on the PE and anytime ive tried running utorrent it has not started in WTM also command lineis uTorrent.exe /NOINSTALL /BRINGTOFRONT oh yeah an kill process or kill process tree
jewelisheaven
Hmm. and you only added the /bringtofront launch argument right? If you kill the process it should disappear. Afterwards, start up uT from run or the command line "C:\Program Files\uTorrent\uTorrent.exe".Recheck the path in P.E.When uT is running if there is no GUI, try "C:\Program Files\uTorrent\uTorrent.exe" /BRINGTOFRONTRecheck the path in P.E.
