i want to ask how can i get maximum speed in utorrent,my maximum speed when downloads from intenet download manger is 250KB/s but in utorrent i never get above 220KB/s,i set 32KB/s upload speed for 220KB/s download speed, but when i change upload speed above or below my download speed decrease a lot from 220KB/s to 160KB/s,my connection shows 2048kbps download and 510kbps upload speed, but i never get 510kbps upload speed,i get maximum 400kbps upload speed from my isp and 2000kbps download speed, but in utorrent how can i get 2000kbps speed, internet download manager always download at 2000kbps,i have no nat problem,i disable dht and all small things,i have no seeders problem, but i never get 2000kbps in utorrent, its always around 1700kbps,in azureus i can get 1950kbps when i download vuze content,so what will do for getting full download speed in utorrent, many patches i found in google to increase utorrent speed to maximum but did no apply any patch my version of utorrent is 1.7.7 latest ,thanks in advance for support

... you are confusing units. I don't think Vuze (azureus) would use Kbps as it's a torrent program like uT and would use KiBps since Windows doesn't show you filesizes in bits. (I ask you look at kurahashi-san's signature http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=218931#p218931)

However IDM is one of those multi-protocol clients isn't it? It's not a bittorrent client ONLY and therefore it's likely those 250 speeds are HTTP traffic. Even so getting 90% utilization of your theoretical maximum speed on the line is quite exceptional. So there's nothing wrong as I see it here.
