philip1192
In the speed bar at the bottom of µTorrent, I always have the caution symbol for my little picture telling how well I forwarded my ports. I have them forwarded perfectly, yet I never get the green check mark. Why not?
jewelisheaven
As Network Status icons explains that requires incoming connections. An easy way to check if you can receive them (i.e. perfect setup) is with the test torrents from the setup guide including Slackware torrents. If you are setup correctly as far as you know, checking with http://www.canyouseeme.org and http://www.utorrent.com/testport.php?port=YOURPORTNUMBER and https://www.grc.com/x/portprobe=YOURPORTNUMBER to test open ports may point out other issues. These may include isp interference through a proxy, permanent double NAT, or simply blocking all your ports.A common process for troubleshooting is covered in Ultima's How-To below.
