hadiceberg
Yesterday I downloaded a 216MB (discography) torrent consisting of many 4~6mb files.uTorrent automatically hibernated my PC after seeding was complete.today I removed the torrent from uTorrent's list and added it again from %AppData%\uTorrentlook what happened. uTorrent tells me that the download isn't complete!Long story short, take a look at the picturehttp://xrl.us/bhwui does it mean files are modified in windows?p.s. I checked "Date Modified" on those files. all of them are modified today at the exact time of turning my PC on, except one folder (which uTorrent tells me they are 100%)could it be WMP related? as you see, the corrupted parts are at the begining and the end of each file (symmetrically)
jewelisheaven
That's my guess. ANY music library software is useless and actually HARMFUL when it comes to torrents, so you should add your downloaded OR completed folders (where applicable) to the exceptions list. hadiceberg
what about making them read-only? would they respect this attribute?
DreadWingKnight
The library software? maybe, maybe not.If you set NTFS permissions on the file to read-only then yes they will.
hadiceberg
Thanks, I'll consider that.would it be possible to make download agent mark completed files as read-only?
jewelisheaven
A helpful user just in-fact created this functionality through the "run program when completed" function. http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?pid=313694#p313694
