koroshiman Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 I've got a server with Debian, wine and utorrent. Everything was fine until I tried to upload something to a private tracker yesterday. The problems began: After downloading the torrentfile and checking everything I had only 99.8% of the torrent file! My torrent file. That I just created in utorrent! So I tried it a few times again, but it was no use...the next time I got 99.9, then 99.8 and after that 99.6!I'm clueless at this point. Some torrents work, some don't. It's not because of the RAM. Generally I really don't know what I do wrong, but maybe one of you does?Any help appreciated!
DreadWingKnight Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 It's not because of the RAM.You've done memtest86 deep tests? What version of wine?Where did you get your version of wine?
koroshiman Posted March 24, 2008 Author Report Posted March 24, 2008 No, I haven't done an memtest86 yet.Wine Version is 0.9.25 and I updated it yesterday from the normal package way.
DreadWingKnight Posted March 24, 2008 Report Posted March 24, 2008 Then you're using a severely outdated version.Current is 0.9.58.Additionally, I have come to not trust debian packages from their own repositories due to a bad history of problems.
koroshiman Posted March 28, 2008 Author Report Posted March 28, 2008 Okay, I've updated it and it sometimes works, but now it doesn't and I don't know what to do.
