glty
Hi,I'm having a problem getting utorrent to connect. The network status icons on the bottom bar are simply not there. I'm able to connect to the internet and I have no other connection issues. I'm not great with computers so please treat me as a beginner. I had no problems with utorrent until moving house and getting a new internet connection and wireless router. I've tried to portforward but when I test whether its forwarded correctly using the test in the utorrent speed guide it says its not open. utorrent is in the exceptions to my windows firewall. I've tried both with this enabled and turned off but with no difference. As far as I know I have no other firewalls.Any help gratefully received.GISP tiscaliRouter D-link G624T

glty
I have a couple with red arrows next to them. On the bottom bar it says DHT: 0 nodes (Login), or DHT: waiting to login.I've also just noticed that accoring to canyouseeme my IP is not the same as when I enter ipconfig into the command prompt. I'm totally baffled, how can I have 2 different IPs?G
jewelisheaven
ipconfig shows your LAN IP when you are behind a router or other hardware which creates NAT (hardware firewall allowing you multiple computers masking on one internet connection)... If on your ROUTER or other device shows a different WAN IP Address than the one the websites show when testing ports, that could be sign of a problem. glty
My WAN address and the one on the websites match. I've finally got a yellow icon in my utorrent (after about 4 hours). I'm going to try and sort out my port forwarding.G
