jeffjarrett
I have two 300 Gig drives, the first has been filled with downloads. Is there a way to keep sharing the first 300 Gigs and now change my download directory to the second drive to continue downloading more. Thanks. Ultima
Simply point to the new drive for new downloads? If you leave the existing data alone on the filled drive, µTorrent won't have any problem continuing to seed them.If you already have torrents loaded to be downloaded onto the filled drive, but want to download them onto the other drive... right-click the torrents you'd like to move, Advanced > Set download location... jeffjarrett
Thanks Ultima,Is there a way I can move downloads from the full drive to the empty one that are completed or partially completed without having to restart the download from 0. I would like to free up about 20 gigs. I still have the original torrent files for these.
Ultima
Yes. Just stop the torrent, move the files, then set download location for the torrent you moved and start. µTorrent should recheck the files to verify their integrity, then continue where it left off. jeffjarrett
I've tried it with completed and partial downloads and both times it brings them back to 0%
Ultima
Are you sure you're pointing to the correct directory when you set download location? If you have a multi-file torrent called "Lots of Files", and you move it to D:\Downloads\, you need to point µTorrent to D:\Downloads\Lots of Files\ (and not just D:\Downloads\), for example.
