uTorrent hogs up all system ressources possibly due to Bullguard AV

Recommended Posts

I'm new to these forums.

Everytime I start uTorrent it takes up 100% cpu power. I looked through the FAQ and as far as I can tell it seems to be the 'Avast' problem. Something with a P2P shield. Unfortunately I don't know how to deal with this in my Bullguard software and I don't really feel like turning it off while uTorrent is running.

This other problem might be related. In fact I think it is. But its VERY FREAKY!

As soon as uTorrent starts running, the cpu usage goes up and my onboard realtek hd audio soundcard starts telling me that jack-plugs are being disconnected and connected again afterwards. This problem stops as soon as utorrent stops...

I hope some of you guys can help me out here. At least to understand whats going on.
