darter
I changed the default download file from D:/download to G:/download to get more space. Whilst i did this i also moved already downloaded files to the download location. The problem is that when i start utorrent now it doesn't add the old files which means i can't seed them. How do i fix this problem?/d
DreadWingKnight
Changes to the preferences don't apply to already loaded torrents. You need to set the download location on each torrent task manually to the new location.
darter
Ok, how do i do that? And does that mean i have to set it for every tiny piece of a avi file for instance (rar pieces)?
DreadWingKnight
Right-click each torrent task, advanced, set download location.Location assignments are per-task
darter
Well, the thing is that i managed to clear them from the download window in utorrent as i thought i could simply locate the files after i had moved the files.
jewelisheaven
When you add torrents Ctrl-O uT fills in the path automatically. To choose it yourself Add with No Default Save (Ctrl-D).If you right click on the remove toolbar icon and see "remove" bolded with the circle showing selected... you will find the torrents under %APPDATA%\uTorrent OR the default torrent storage. IF you have one of the "delete torrent" options bolded then you will have to download it again.
