Ultima
There is no way around checking.Start > Run > devmgmt.mscCheck your primary and secondary IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers' properties to see if any of the connected devices' current transfer modes are in PIO. If so, uninstall the affected controller and restart your computer.

Ultima
Removing the controller has no consequence on the torrent jobs list. If that happened, it was merely a bad coincidence. There must have been a bad shutdown whereby µTorrent was unable to properly save resume.dat (which stores the torrents). You're probably going to have to reload the missing torrents from %appdata%\uTorrent. bora3y
It went back to checking T_T, is there a way to implement the .dat's in that file ?
Ultima
Checking again upon reload is normal.Edit: I just realized that I fail at reading. If you're using an external drive, then all you can do is stop the drive from disconnecting periodically. If you can't... well, you probably shouldn't be using that drive for downloading then. bora3y
So once it's done checking, It'll be at where it left off before it was erased ?And How can i avoid making it go into checking .. ever again >.>;
Ultima
Yes, it'll be left off where it was last up to. You can avoid checking by not allowing the drive to unexpectedly disconnect while µTorrent is running.
