Phroze
Hi,I've been using utorrent for a couple of weeks now and my download speed hasn't picked up at all. most of the downloads are like 0.5kB/s average and the max i've seen it go up to 10kB/s but very rarely. I've read the guide and tried all the methods suggested. My download speed on speedtest.net is 8153kb/s and upload speed is 242 kb/s. my settings on the speed guide is xx/256k but still my download speeds do not improve. I'm using windows vista and i've disabled the firewall and i'm using norton instead, but i've checked and there isn't a firewall blocking it. Also my status is always green but yet my downloads are terrible. Need some help here, thanks.
GTHK
Norton is crap. Try xx/192 in the speed guide. If that fails, follow this guide completely, and report back in detail any problems you have.
Phroze
ok, i've followed the guide but still there isn't much change. However this afternoon one of the torrent's download speed suddenly shot up to abt 200kb/s. But other than that, the rest of the torrents are still at around 2kb/s on avg. Nth seems to be working.. =/
Switeck
Almost every ISP in your area thoroughly cripples international traffic and/or BitTorrent traffic. So if you're in Singapore, then you are VERY unlikely to get good speeds in uTorrent...except maybe to a peer or seed that is also in Singapore.
