clannand
I have a limited space on my Hard Dive and would like to know what is the acceptable amount to leave on for seeding. I am running out of space
torrero
At least until ratio is 0.750. Ratio of 1.000 or higher is preferred, of course (1.000 means you downloaded exactly as much as you uploaded).
Switeck
Also consider keeping longer torrents that are doomed if you leave. These are the ones that have few if any other seeds...but still seeing a few or more peers trying to download them. Typically happens on the big ones unfortunately, but it can also happen on the 10-50 MB ones that are in high demand but suffer from lots of hit-and-run downloaders. If you're seeding a torrent that has lots of seeds and peers, you leaving only changes the speed at which peers download the torrent...and then only very slightly overall. So it is less important to get those up to >0.500 ratio on them. But it is still nice if you can to do at least that much.
