Switzy Posted April 10, 2008 Report Share Posted April 10, 2008 hi ive got u torrent 1.7.7 and im downloading torrent files, Is there any software at all i can download so i can just have a sneak peak at the film when its like 30% or sommat to see if its the film im wanting or if its a good copy and not some porno? jewelisheaven Posted April 10, 2008 Report Share Posted April 10, 2008 Hopefully by the time you have 30% you've got the first and last pieces for the file, but to ensure this, and perhaps be able to view this sooner, you have the Ctrl-P -> Advanced option bt.prio_first_last_piece . Set to TRUE to enable this function, and the function has been improved in 1.8 so that up to 1 MiB of data is pulled (not just the first piece, which can be as small as 32 KiB, which isn't enough data for some large containers) from the beginning and end of each file.
