rocktorrentz Posted December 21, 2005 Report Posted December 21, 2005 I have now been using µTorrent for some time and it is by far my favourite client. I have configured the client to all of my preferences except one. For some reason the client shows what it believes the swarm size to be in brackets in the torrent list section of the window and what the tracker reports in the bottom part of the window, as shown below:http://imgfree.com/images/huhguvkbbcpe.jpgIs there any way to configure the client to show what the tracker reports to be the swarm size in the brackets in the torrent list bit of the window (the top part) rather than what it believes to be the swarm size?Thanksrocktorrentz
Firon Posted December 21, 2005 Report Posted December 21, 2005 Link or thumbnail pics that are >50kb please. And not at the moment, so to feature requests we go. It kind of shows the swarm size. It's a bit strange. If the swarm size is greater than the internal peer cache, it shows what the tracker says (like expected). For smaller swarms, you'll probably see different values (the internal ones). I'm not sure how DHT affects the display.
rocktorrentz Posted December 21, 2005 Author Report Posted December 21, 2005 Thanks for moving it as appropriate and giveing me a good reply I hope the choice of having this view of swarm size or the current view is implemented soon because i'm sure that i'm not the only one that finds it irritating.Thanksrocktorrentz
splintax Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 Maybe we could get µT to display all three numbers? Connected/Tracker-reported swarm/µT-detected swarm?Hmm.
Firon Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 before it used to always show the internal amounts, so ludde changed the behavior. I rather like how it is now though...
Ultima Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 lol I personally don't care about the very specifics. As long as I'm connected and getting decent speeds, I'm fine ;P
splintax Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 still, it would be an interesting stat
