BevansDesign Posted April 13, 2008 Report Share Posted April 13, 2008 It would be really nice if we could set up uTorrent to automatically edit the names of files being downloaded.For example, a lot of files I download look something like this: Some.File.Name.AR.CEVI.ReVz-WooZLE.[XYZ].zipI know the reasoning behind all that extra text, but editing it out for my personal library, especially when there are dozens of files, is annoying. I just want it to say "Some File Name.zip".It'd be nice if the program would automatically convert periods and underscores to spaces, and then allow for user-customizable auto-removal (or replacement) of specific character combinations.This is a feature that one of the other file-sharing services had that I really liked, and I would love to see in uTorrent.
