LordDarkStar
Greetings,I recently began using u Torrent and I must say, it is an awesome Bit Torrent program!Today I had a question for which I sought an answer in the program's Help file. Imagine my surprise when I pressed F1 and was directed to this site! I was able to find and download the Help file, but I am lost as how to integrate it into uTorrent. Can someone provide me with directions, please? Many Thanks!Lord Dark Star
jewelisheaven
In 1.8 the "Help" menu item has been changed to the Zip file You just unpack the ZIP file and open utorrent.chm.
lightshadow
re: help filewhere is this file placed? application data folder or the folder where utorrent is? i've actually tried both with no success. i'm running ver 1.7.7. what is utorrent.chm? i just see the utorrent app and it is 216 kb
hermanm
Most likely c:\program files\utorrentAs I recall, 1.7 won't have this capability. I think you have to upgrade to 1.8 to have the Help download for you automatically. The local help file makes more sense than web based help because you can search on keywords more easily. Firon
You have to just run it yourself if using 1.7.7.
jewelisheaven
FTR: 1.8 downloads the .zip into the settings.dat directory and unpacks the CHM then runs it.
