Reseeding A Torrent Back To A Tracker

Let's say in October of 06 I downloaded a torrent which I still have. I also have the files, in the same folder I initially saved them to. And let's say that my favorite tracker went a way for a while and is now back and out of loyalty I would like to start seeding that torrent again. However, uT tells me that the torrent is deleted or not in the pool yet. I confirmed this by looking in the torrent database at my trackers website.

My question is this:

Is there a method, using uT, to bring that old torrent back to life or do I just have to create a brand new one?

Is it Demonoid?

And torrent not in pool usually means you have to upload the .torrent to the site so the tracker can accept it, otherwise it will be rejected. Once uploaded, depending on the tracker it may take 1/2 an hour for it to register.

Yes you guessed right - Demonoid. I tried to upload a torrent from my %AppData%\uTorrent folder, and then when I checked it, it said it was deleted by an owner or moderator. So I just made a new one. It does not take that long, I was just hoping to be able to breathe new life into one, but dead is dead, I see! I guess in retrospect it was a dumb question but I am still learning.

To hermanm - I had submitted before seeing your additional post. Yeah, I was wondering about that too. There are many torrents that are like a year old, or older with no seeds, and are not removed. Something goofy is going on because I have torrents that show a ratio in the 100s and one in the 1000s - sheesh!
