oshi
I just started using uTorrent and torrents in general really, and I'm having trouble with seeding. Most of the time I have to automatically update the tracker for each torrent in order to get some torrents to seed, instead of it automatically updating by itself. What gives? jewelisheaven
If the Status says "Seeding" it is seeding. You need to wait for peers to connect to you.
oshi
Yes, obviously. But the connection usually isn't made or takes awhile to do even though people are trying to connect unless I update the tracker myself.
DreadWingKnight
How long after completing the torrent are you waiting before you declare it "not working"?
oshi
Not too long. My torrents will seed after awhile I guess but the site I'm on is hard to keep a decent ratio and by the time uT starts seeding by itself for me the downloaders are gone. DreadWingKnight
Try it with a high-traffic torrent and see how it handles. Private sites are notorious for having problems like that.
