I Can't take it anymore!! i am turning on the Utorrent and (inemeantime it's downloading ok) after a few hours it's freezez my computer (i tried also without the firewall and the Anti-Virus)....someone can give me please a solution for this situation

Well you have Nero BackItUp and as I understand it, all that nero stuff is bundled together... it was something to check.

As far as netgear driver, if you don't need it turn it off... Are you only connecting via wireless card?

What about over USB dongle adapter.

Those input devices are last but not completely uncommon to cause problems. Unfortunately nothing is hooking into uT for a more exacting troubleshooting list. You need to turn off services and programs until the problem stops. This can be accomplished rather easily through start->run->msconfig and turn things off one by one as it freezes windows.

i need the Netgear driver because i am connecting from a USB dongle adapter and the driver installation give's me a helper program (that i now don't use) ...but never mined

...I am i little noobey so you can give more specific on how can i do it....(again I am sorry on my bad english)

You might be able to disable the Netgear controller and use the Windows config, while I do prefer the standard software, I found a USB Belkin causing crashes and it actually degraded network performance on the computer, switching to the Windows config helped the system, and the same might be true for the Netgear. Look for a setting in the Netgear, if not, Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > Right-click the wireless > Properties > One of those tabs lets you set the Windows configurer as default, and enter network settings.. usually.

Kaspersky anti-virus (not Internet security), from a multi-software review, has the highest/one-of-the-highest detection rates, need to disable Web-scanning though. avast!, in the same article, had the highest rate of detection of free AV's, and only rated under another one for its "confusing interface", which honestly isn't very intuitive. I think the article is a year or two old though :/.

Web scanning scans HTTP, but I stopped liking it the moment it gave a false positive. It's not needed anyway. I've also found that Kaspersky Internet Security can lag the computer a bit.

IIRC you can just disable the web scanning for utorrent.exe, which significantly reduces the CPU % load.

ammm... I think you didn't understand me... i have the freeze only when the utorrent is on.... if it was keep on freezing olso without turning on the utorrent i waren't braking my had... I would go straight to the computer place... (i have insurance like for another 3 years....

New computer doesn't mean anything. Stuff fails, and it often fails early. Torrent clients are taxing on system hardware, and they will make problems come to light when other software doesn't.

Try removing nero back it up and ad-aware. Then check to see if your IDE/SATA are set to UDMA6 in the device manager.

If the controllers are currently PIO with DMA/UDMA set, uninstall them and restart. Also, half-open should be left at default unless otherwise instructed.

If "Current Transfer Mode" is PIO, you need to delete that driver for your hard disk controlllers. When you re-add it, it should start in UDMA. If not, you have hard drive problems.

Did you change back half-open to 8 before the last crash?
