BLT-FQX
Cause Yahoo Pipes output this timezone, but utorrent's RSS does not support this timezone.I don't think it's a new feature, so I post it here.

BLT-FQX
That is odd.My Firefox and IE can decoding the time properly, but not utorrent.time format like this
Firon
Is there a feed we can use to test with? And how exactly "is it not supported"?
jewelisheaven
Since when does timezone matter? uT only cares about frequency of updates to RSS filters(when enabled).
BLT-FQX
Oh yes, it's a Chinese feed. http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?_id=QE24LLzk2xGX2199l7okhQ&_render=rssWhen I say "is not supported", I mean that the Added On column is blank, and feeds cannot be sorted by that time. jewelisheaven
Ahhhh very interesting. All the feeds I have are encoded like this
...offsets from GMT, not labels. I'd imagine uT could be coded to support labels.. but I'd see if you can ask the creator if they can use offsets instead ...
GTHK
According to the documents linked by DWK labels should work as well :/.
jewelisheaven
I checked all 7 sites I use for RSS, every one of them works fine, except http://rss.bt-chat.com/?cat=9 which also uses labels.
BLT-FQX
I guess there is a bug.
jewelisheaven
I don't know perhaps, certainly sounds like it doesn't. But I'm only one person ... It shouldn't need to be said, but please be sure you're testing in 1.8 Beta. You can find it in the announcements forum. Run it http://utorrent.com/faq.php#How_can_I_share_my_torrents_between_user_profiles.3F to not interfere with current settings.
Greg Hazel
Yes, currently uTorrent only parses "GMT" and "+0000" formats. I added "UT", "EST", "EDT", "CST", "CDT", "MST", "MDT", "PST", "PDT" for the next build of 1.8 (>9599).
