Dolomite
I'm currently staying at a Holiday Inn for the next month or so while attending a sort of conference for my job. I would like to be able to use utorrent while I'm here but no one here seems to know the hotel's router information. Both the default gateway and DNS are coming up as 10.0.0.1 and I can't think of any other way to get the info. Is there any way I can bypass the port forwarding or does anyone know how to get at the router info?
jewelisheaven
You're behind their external NAT. There's no way in uT to get around it. If you know of or pay for a VPN service you can enter that into the Proxy settings or make sure uT uses it from Ctrl-P -> Advanced -> net.bind_ip

jewelisheaven
I did forget to mention... if you haven't tried UPnP/NAT-PMP you can try that, but I wouldn't hold my breath, as they likely stick you through a transparent proxy anyways.
