Switeck
There are people with really fast internet connections that are getting speeds 10 times faster than you have.Without knowing about your settings in uTorrent, how fast your connection is (both down and up!), and possibly even what ISP you have...I do not know if you can get any faster than currently. jewelisheaven
Are you limiting your download speed? Is your connection linespeed > 8 Mbit down? Does http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/ download that fast?
badluka
I have 10Mbit, 999kB/s down and 40-50kB/s up.Are you limiting your download speed?I dont know ... maybe... where do i look if i am.
GTHK
Preferences dialog will let you see your limits, don't over tune them. Did you even follow the setup guide to configure µT?
jewelisheaven
10Mbit linespeed is theoretical maximum 1280 KiBps... so an arbitrary value of 999 suggests you limited it. It's only SLIGHTLY outside the default "limit" % of 80% of your download... but unless you're reversing the values, nothing in uT would auto-limit to that. If you were using xx/10Mbit in Speed Guide even, you'd be using 87% limit of 1120.Be sure you neither limited the TORRENT or the PROGRAM.The setup guide GTHK refers to is http://utorrent.com/setup_guide.php
