Tynen
There are a lot of Linux torrent program that let you choose what ratio you want for a file. That'd be a really nice feature. I know you can allocate a certain amount of bandwidth to a torrent in either upload or download, and I guess you could almost achieve it by that. But I would like something dynamic. So I guess what I'm requesting would be that you can choose the desired ratio for a certain torrent.
Firon
You can already assign a ratio for a torrent... Double click the torrent, or right click -> properties. You can also set the default ratio in the Queueing section of the preferences.
Tynen
oh wow I'm an idiot. Thank you Firon I thought it'd be a little weird for such a great torrent client to not have such a simple feature.
jewelisheaven
On-add, if you have "always show dialog on manual add" ticked, press "Advanced" that brings up properties so you don't have to do it AFTER you load the torrent.
madceluk
Is there any way to automatically assign different ratios to torrents by using the labels? For instance, I tend to seed music files for longer as they are generally smaller and hitting a ratio of say 5 is quite easy.
Ultima
No, though such a feature has been requested before.
