bangback
Hi,I downloaded the help file, which I would've expected to see in something like a word document format. However, when I open this zipped file up, I get an HTML-type window that is similar in design to a Windows HTML Help File screen. No matter what entry I click on the left side of the screen, I get "The address is not valid" errors. Is there some sort of trick to opening up the help file? It is a bit annoying to go through all the steps of downloading a file to learn about the advanced settings, especially after being told "read the FAQ" over and over, only to get a file that produces nothing but errors and confusing references to web links/pages.How do I fix this problem, or better yet, download an intact document that I can print out? Ultima
It's not similar in design to a "Windows HTML Help File screen" -- it is a HTML Help file. Are you downloading the file via Internet Explorer? If so, then don't -- use another browser. If not, then after you extract the file, check the properties and make sure the CHM file is unblocked. bangback
Someone came to my rescue on this one and produced a word-format file for this manual that I was able to print out so I can take it with me to read. Thanx a million for that file! :-)
Ultima
Hm, frankly, I don't feel like the manual is "well-optimized" for print, since there are some vague details in it that require hyperlinks that (obviously) won't work well on print I think I'll need look over the manual again to make some of the anchor names more descriptive...
