otakukin
I'm bad with computers, but i have two computers and a Xbox 360. I only had my desktop connected until my friend suggested that i get a router to let me use live and my laptop downstairs. So I got the Linksys BEFSR41 a four port cable and dsl router. I have charter high speed cable internet and I don't want to mess the connection up. Okay I have it connected through my desktop right now and I have a problem I am really confused about how to get it to work through the router. Right now I get erratic ups and downs under 60 kbps were i used to get an almost steady 200 kbps. Plus the yellow yield sign comes up. So I keep on trying things but every time I have to return to factory default and reboot the cd. Any easy to fallow advice.Thank you in advance... GTHK
Try port forwarding yet? http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htmAlso, I'm not sure, but I think that router has problems with P2P or UPnP or something.
