backlash53 Posted April 24, 2008 Report Share Posted April 24, 2008 As the title says, if i shut down uTorrent i cannot open it again unless i restart windows. It just says something like "uTorrent is already running but is not responding." I try kill the process with windows task viewer and still that doesnt work. This only seems to happen on my vista computer but my windows XP computer this never happens.my main specs:Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6000) Processor: Intel® Pentium® D CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHzMemory: 2046MB RAMGraphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

hermanm Posted April 24, 2008 Report Share Posted April 24, 2008 This may not apply to you but sometimes when you close out of uTorrent, utorrent.exe will still be in Task Manager. You have to wait until that disappears before you can launch uTorrent.exe. Otherwise, you run into that error message you describe.
