dontmindifido
Hi, apologies if this is a duplicate--I couldn't find a similar question. My Utor port checker says that my port is open and accepting connections, and I have decent speeds, but not great ones. All I have done is instruct my firewall to trust Utor and it has been working fairly well.Is it worth it to set up a static IP address and manually forward the port, or will it have no effect if the Utor speed guide test says I'm already accepting connections? Thanks for the help. GTHK
Do you have a router? If you do and the network status is ok then you probably used UPnP to forward, which is fine if your router isn't buggy.
dontmindifido
I do have a router, and Utor seems to be working ok so I guess I'll not worry about it unless I have real problems. That guide is really helpful, and so much clearer than anything my ISP has ever told me, thanks.
GTHK
The guide is my signature, if it does apply to you though then use it, make sure you can restore your settings though in case something bugs up.
