You will get no reply without more information. What were you doing when it crashed? Or did it crash when you were away? You say it's not the first time... OK, how often does it happen? Does it appear to happen @ the same time every day or week?

It happens from day to day, sometimes utorrent crashes sometimes not, but it happens everytime when I'm away, when I turn off the monitor & leave it till the next day and when come next morning I see the error.

Nothing else (other program) is loaded except uttorrent and the antivirus with the Schedule Update turned OFF.

No HiJackThis is needed, I'm clean, with Antivirus and Antispyware + Firewall ON (Updated).

Actually, some antivirus, antispyware and firewall applications are the cause of these crashes, so no you are NOT clean.

I guess wget doesn't follow HTTP 302's I did use DTA and saw the filesize, sorry about my mixup.

Those two Symantec hooks into uT's process should be removed for further testing. This may require stopping/disabling the SMAC/SNC services or even uninstalling the suite if the individual parts cannot be stopped separately. The relevant lines are

To access the services Start->Run->services.msc You can then STOP and / or DISABLE them to see if uT 1) still shows those loaded DLLs, and 2) still crashes haphazardly. Additionally you are using 1.7.7 uT yes? Do you use UPnP to connect to your router? Do you have the UPnP option ON in Preferences?

Today when I came to work, utorrent was dead (crashed again), I disabled the Endpoint Protection Firewall will see what will happen` tomorrow!

LOL, in that case my case still stands, you turned off which exe before. turn off another, and each time it crashes turn off something different. I see 4 symantec processes, and 6 services... Of course if you try them all, you can try uninstalling the whole thing :? If not that, you can try removing download master .... and I odn't know why an archive manager would need a service O23 - Service: Stuffit Archive Name Service - Smith Micro Software, Inc. - C:\Program Files\StuffIt11\ArcNameService.exe... uninstall that too. If you're downloading archives when this happens usually, do this before the others

Hey jewelisheaven, I Disabled the SEP Firewall & guess what, utorrent did not crash!

I hope this was the problem, will see after next 4 days that I'll be away...

I have the same problem of ut1.7.7 crashing. Am I supposed to ENABLE upnp and nat pnp in preferences? Or disable??

I don't use a router, there's only one PC using the dsl modem.

What else do I do?
