toughcookie
How do you display the speed status bar which overlaps all of your windows when you have uTorrent minimized. I know this is really easy but I just can't remember how to do it and it is really annoying me not knowing how to do it.
GTHK
"Right-click a torrent > Advanced > Show download bar"? Is that what you're talking about?
toughcookie
yeah that pretty much is it but isn't there one where it displays the overall speed of all of your downloads/uploads
jewelisheaven
Turn it on for the title bar. No, there is no OTHER download bar. You can find a request for it in the Feature Requests forum however and voice your opinion
hermanm
Or maybe even a system tray icon that displays the current down & up rate.
jewelisheaven
Clever That's already implemented, or was that sarcasm
Ultima
No, it's not implemented.
jewelisheaven
The tray icon shows bandwidth, I don't know what you're on. o.O
Ultima
tooltip != icon
hermanm
Yeah, it would mean the icon would have to change. Not sure how much data you can fit in an icon space, but having two numbers - the top half for up rate and the bottom half for down rate could be useful for some. I'm kinda whatever about it - you'll finish when you finish. Having that statistic doesn't make your transfer go any faster...
jewelisheaven
... Anyone asking for an icon to dynamically display text has never used Windows before. I got it wrong though, indeed. Touche. I'd think a widget on the desktop or something at minimum would be required should it be thought of though. As hermanm says the tray is only 16^2, aside from the fact it would look ugly that small. Ultima
Indeed, it would be ugly. Also, it's been requested (and AFAIK, rejected) before. Meh.
