chaosblade
Try capping your upload to 8-9kB/s and see if its more stable.

SledgeDG
NUMBER OF UPLOAD SLOTS PER TORRENT-10In your case (having an upload of 8 or so) I would lower that value to 4 or 5otherwise mathematically you up 0.8 per torrent...not really rocket speed, now is it...no wonder your downloads sufferMAX NUMBER OF ACTIVE TORRENTS UP/DL-10same here...why running 10 torrents with a connection like yours?Trust me, they come in faster if you d/l them 2 at a timeEven I (on a 6Mbit line, mind you) have it set to 4...and never ever had a speed issue..go figure just fiddle with these values...use common sense and it should work out just fine-DG

Switeck
MAX NUMBER OF ACTIVE TORRENTS UP/DL-10MAX NUMBER OF ACTIVE DOWNLOADS-300MAX NUMBER OF ACTIVE DOWNLOADS should NEVER be greater than MAX NUMBER OF ACTIVE TORRENTS.With your connection, except for nearly-dead torrents, you shouldn't be exceeding 5 torrents active at once. seamus7
Okay, your settings are whack!Based on your quote of downloading at 623 kb/s or 77.8 kB/suploading at 93 kb/s or 11.6 kB/sTry these settings:max upload: 10 kB/smax dowload: 65 kB/sglobal connections max: 93per torrent connections: 20upload slots: 2active torrents:2active downloads:1See this guide for how I got these settings. Switeck
global connections max: 93per torrent connections: 20upload slots: 2active torrents:2active downloads:1Well, if you're only going to have 2 torrents max and 20 connections per torrent, (40 total) having global connections max set to 93 doesn't really do much. You could probably get by setting per torrent connections as high as 40 and leave global connection max untouched. Most torrents won't let you reach 40 connections anyway. If the torrents you are after are on good trackers and always have seeds or virtual copies spread among the peers, you can disable DHT and save as much as 4 KB/sec upload and download bandwidth. As far as I know, even if the tracker goes down you can at least finish the current chunks with the peers you're connected to.
chaosblade
This isnt emule\shareaza, max active downloads are not total peer connection in that torrent. I dont think anyone runs 300 downloading torrents at once unless he has a 10mb dedicated line or something alike.
