sadkins76
Hello. I have been using uTorrent for quite some time now, and have never had an error like this. I cant seem to find an explanation regarding what this error message means. It simply crashes uTorrent, forcing me to restart the application. I restart and within a few mins, I get the same error. I originally thought that changing a TCP/IP setting in regedit may have caused this. However, after deleting the key, the problem remains. I now suspect that my installation of Windows XP SP3 may be the culprit. Any ideas or suggestions?

jewelisheaven
Is this what you're talking about? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949109I didn't see anything else specifically mentioning SP3. What are you doing immediately prior to the error? Also what version are you using (Alt-H-A) and how long after startup does this occur? Does it happen the same time each startup or at the same time each day?Can you go to %APPDATA%\uTorrent and package up the .DMP files you find there to http://mediafire.com and link them?If you think it's possible your settings may be at fault, mentioning all settings for your connection and peers and torrent queue size and any changed (* values) in Ctrl-P -> Advanced may shed some more light. Additionally posting the logfiles mentioned at the bottom of http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992 can provide more information.
