GTHK
Well first, you don't need a static IPA from your ISP, you set a static IPA in your private network, second, what model Linksys? Some have firmware issues and automatically reboot with lots of connections.
jbodyconnection
its BEFSR41 v4 and I tried the updating firmware still kicks me off.
GTHK
Are you saying trying to port forward is kicking you off, or is the router failing under load? If it's the second, you need to reduce load. Disabling the SPI firewall if it has one might work, otherwise: http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992#p258231
Firon
You need to significantly reduce the connections and stuff on that router.
